Very Surprised by the Daily Deviation on my 'Resurrection' painting! Thank you to everyone who commented, fav'd and all new watchers. Now I have to go look up AoT. heh

In issue two, Amber is given subliminal messages from Dr. Evers. If you look at the dialogue during his therapy, the words he is imprinting in her mind are highlighted. If you read them as one sentence it's a code for her to escape the lab. Only one guy came to me at san diego a few years ago and said he got it. I guess I hid it too well.

I was very sorry to hear about Frank Frazetta's passing. He has been a huge influence on my work.  I remember looking at his paintings growing up and loving them.  To me he existed in both the realms of fine art and illustration. Had the the brushwork of Sargent, the color of Corot, the composition and chiaroscuro of Caravaggio, the women of Rubens, and an imagination as deep and vast as Howard or Tolkien.  He brought all of the greatest characters of 20th century fantasy fiction to life for generations of artists and fans.  I will be studying and appreciating his paintings with awe for the rest of my life.
